Help get us across the threshold to complete the museum!

The Washington, DC, Metropolitan Police Memorial and Museum Inc, (MPM&M) is close to completing its second major goal: the creation of a DC Metropolitan Police Museum. In 2023, the MPM&M, completed the renovation of the memorial fountain and the construction of a living memorial wall. Now we need your help to professionally design and develop the museum that is under construction at 441 4th Street, NW, Washington, DC.

We have some amazing stories to tell.

Because this city is unique like no other as the nation’s capital, members of the MPD have been present for every major event in Washington, DC – every inauguration, every protest, every visit by a head of state, and every crime or major celebration.  There are thousands of stories to tell and historical artifacts to preserve.  The MPM&M wants to ensure the rich history of policing in our nation’s capital is told and preserved.  Will you help us?

We’re nearly there

We’re already well underway with reaching our fundraising goal of $150,000.  Already we have raised $65,000, but we need help to get across the finish line.

Your tax deductible donation will make all the difference and will go directly to the cost of cataloging, preserving, and documenting all the historic artifacts, as well as, designing exhibits and creating graphics to enhance the visitor experience. 501(c)(3) organization operating under EIN 46-1976045
