Donor Coin Thank You Gift – This unique coin (different from the Challenge Coin) displays the MPD Badge with the black mourning tape across the badge and the badge number of 1861, the year MPD was born.
On the reverse side of the coin displays our motto, “All Gave Some, Some Gave All” circling the MPD badge.
Each donation supports the construction of a fitting memorial to honor the sacrifices of the men and women of the Metropolitan Police Department of Washington, DC, who have been killed in the line of duty. We are a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) tax exempt organization. Donations are exempt in accordance with IRS Tax regulations.
